DALLAS (BBDFW) - In football news today, the old timers committee has decided to add a 26th name to the Hall Of Fame ballot for the Class of 2010.

"Jungle" Drew Feger (pictured right) played in the inaugural season for the Giants in 1925. At the time he was the highest paid defensive lineman/kicker bringing home a whopping $100 per year.

Upon Internet research, BBDFW has found a quote from a local news anchor stating:

"Listen see. He was lean and mean and everything in between. The bees knees! Speaking of knees, he was the inventor of the chop block! That's right! I said it here first kids...the chop block. Watch it! He may hit you below the bread basket with his patent jungle chop block! Ouch that's smart!"

In light of the recent news, the Giants would like to retire his number but official stats have not been discovered and team officials don't remember his number.

More news to come on this developing story.
