Cut day - Time for 5 players to go.

Today is cut day in the NFL. Pre season rosters have to be down to 75 players. That said, who would be the five players that don't make it this year......

Drums please......

Will Sinorice Moss live to see another day as a NY Giant?

Will Jim Sorgi stay a backup quarterback?

Well the answer to both these questions is.....sort of.....

According to Zach Berman of the New Jersey Star-Ledger, the Giants placed Sinorice Moss, Jim Sorgi, and Adrian Tracy (rookie out of William and Mary) on the injured reserved list. Technically they could be back in a Giants uniform if the Giants don't decide to provide them with an injury settlement and cut them for the year. I think Tracy will be back though. Kevin Boothe was placed on the PUP list and will be out for the first six games. Nyan Boateng (nya nya nya Not gonnna be a New York Giant anymore)was alse waived today.

This weekend we'll see the roster slim down to 54. Stay tuned to see if Rhett Bomar makes the squad as the backup quarterback for Eli Manning or if the Giants look to find a veteran QB to stand on the sidelines. JMALL's favorite backup, David Carr, may be looking for work after this weekend.
