We are writing to provide you with an explanation of the power interruption experienced during our game last Sunday against Dallas.
A thorough study of the incident has been conducted by the New Meadowlands Stadium and the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. Their findings are that the brief power interruption was caused by a malfunction of an NJSEA transformer, and was not caused by any deficiency or equipment in our new stadium.
We have been assured that the transformer has been re-inspected and is in good working condition, and that the necessary steps have been taken to reduce the risk that a similar incident will occur in the future.
