New York Giants a Pass First Team?

It just doesn't seem right saying that! However, I just heard the Giants had the lowest yards per rush in the NFL for 2011. What happened to run first and a ground attack?

So that compounded with Victor Cruz's amazing 1,536 yards receiving this season and for the first time two New York Giants receivers had more than a 1,000 yards receiving in a season, the Giants are all about the pass.

The days of bad ass Linebackers and Running backs (old Giant school of building a team) hogging the headlines during free agency were vacant... This year, Wide Receivers ran amuck with monster contracts in Free Agency.

If this trend continues, new all time leaders will take the record board and some (rushing leader) may not be broken for years.

Passing Leader (all-time): Phil Simms - 33,462 yards

Rushing Leader (all-time): Tiki Barber - 10,449 yards

Receiving Leader (all-time): Amani Toomer - 9,497 yards
