Good Times Good Times

I hope all you Giants fans out there are taking a moment to appreciate these games. There are two more games that look to be a little softer than the next five after them. I'm not saying EASY, because I don't want to be a jinx. We all saw how that worked out last year against Cleveland. All I'm saying is to make sure you enjoy the next two games.

Thanks to all that came out for the Tampa Bay game. We had a really good turn out again and I had a good time meeting up with the new people. I hope everybody else did as well.

Delicious...

I've heard tons of names for the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Here are a few examples:

The Palace in Dallas (ehh...Arlington)

The Eighth Wonder of the World (I always thought that was Andre The Giant)

Jerry World

Jones Mahal

Death Star (A nice Star Wars reference but I hope it actually means Death to the Star.)

Six Flags Over Jerry

Boss Hogg Bowl

Jerry Dome

But after being at "the most attended game in NFL History," I must submit a new name I overheard this morning:

The $1 Billion Bakery

Why - you ask? Because all they serve up is turnovers! That's why!

Delicious...

Bruce Johnson - VOTE NOW- NFL.com rookie of the week.

Be sure to go to NFL.com to vote for Bruce Johnson as the NFL.com rookie of the week. He's one of the four finalists for the week.

Who Would Have Thought

Who would have thought that after week 2 of the NFL season, after two weeks of division rivals, the NY Giants would have:

-The 5th best passing QB in the league.
-The 3rd and 4th best recievers in the league.
-The most field goal points in the league. (yeah, I know this one's not so exciting)
-The 5th best passing defense in the league. BEAST!
-The 27th best rushing defense league....WAIT...WHAT DID I SAY? 27th? Well you know that number is not going to last long with our big front seven.

Either way, I know it's way too early in the season. I just hope this is a sign of things to come.

Hello, sports fans it's week two of the 2009 NFL season . Most of The Famous Big Blue DFW Crew will not be watching the game at the Cape Buffalo this week. We will be in Arlington, TX as early as they let us in Lot 13 off Sanford Dr. for a tailgate of tailgates when our New York Football Giants play The Tarrant County Cowboys. You heard me...Lot 13.

Don't miss former UCF player/mascot Dru Feger sign autographs and tell stories of Orlando football yesteryear. Don't miss former OU grappler and tailgate MMA Jumal Winter. Former QB Michael "Omaha" Salisbury of the Mineral Wells will be there taking pictures with all fans.

Un-Bear-able...

The game itself was absolute garbage - and I'm not sure what made it worse:

1. The two morticians that called the game.

or

2. The fact that I removed myself from all sports so I didn't know that outcome of the game until it was on replay.

The 2nd one is completely my own stupidity. I blame no one but myself.

But the first one...good grief. Those two did their best to make it seem like the Bears were the 2nd coming. I mean - if they could have walked on water - they would have. I guess if my team were living in 1985 - I would be pretty damn excited about a preseason game too.

The only shining light on the entire game - for me - was the fact that Brandon Jacobs completely ran over their beloved Urlacher....twice!
