New Weekly Award - BigBlueDFW Style

As the NFL season begins this week, we're going to introduce a new feature to Big Blue DFW. We're going to hand out a weekly award for the Douche Bag of the Week. This award is available to any group of people deemed worthy, including: football players, entire teams, and annoying fans. The award is achievable through ridiculous comments, bad football play, nonsensical fan commentary, or anything else that is characteristic of being a tool. We're going to do our best to limit this to NFL or Giants related issues while keeping college football out of this award. This is due to the conflict of interest among Giants fans who cheer for various teams.

Since I don't mind holding Giants players accountable for their actions, I might consider Brandon Jacobs for the award this week. But since I want to start the season off on a positive note, I'm going to give a Summer Douche award to a special individual named Albert Haynesworth of the Washington Redskins. Albert, you've done a wonderful job of being both an overpaid douche and potential destroyer of your team. I should thank you, but instead I'm tired of hearing your name everytime I turn on the radio.

Congratulations Albert, you're the douche of the summer.
