SteveNYC: "War's over man, Hixon dropped the big one!"
Dirty: "Over? Did you say over? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when Eli threw 4 picks against the Jets last year? Hell no!"
Mac: "The Jets???"
The Fans: "Forget it. He's rolling."
Dirty: "...and it ain't over now. Because when the going gets tough..."
---dramatic pause---
Dirty: "The tough gets going. Who's with me?"
---dirty runs out and returns alone---
Dirty: "What the fuck happened to the Big Blue I used to know? Where are the emails? Where are the posts? This could be the greatest week of our season (***possible first round bye and home field advantage***) but you're going to let it be the worst. Oh no - we lost to a desperate and dysfunctional Cowboys team. Well just kiss my ass from now on. Not me - I'm not going to take this! Our former defensive coordinator - he's going down. The quarterback - sacked! Carolina Panthers..."

Coach Coughlin's kinder and gentler side says...
“We do have 11 wins,” Coach Tom Coughlin, who congratulated his team on the division title before going over Sunday’s mistakes, said not to make too much out of one loss.
Very Michael Salisburyesq. That's my QB... always cool headed when steering the ship. Omaha, Omaha!
On the flip side...Jerry Jones calls out Marion Barber! Wow... Jones must have been fuming Sunday Night.
Apparently, Jones said, "Barber could have taped and braced the toe well enough to allow him to play. ""He can play with that injured toe," Jones said. "He can play with the soreness and a combination of those things. I see nothing that led us to believe he couldn’t."
Who wants to play for this ass? Or is Jones Right?
I may be biased, but Jones is an ass. Are you kidding me? Where was this when Romo was out with the pinkie? Why now ...why Barber's pinkie toe? Is Jones a toe-phobe??? I do not remember any owners in the past calling out their players.
Stay in the owners box you douche. Leave the coaching and motivating to the professionals on your team. You know... the puffy guy on the sideline with headphones on... The Big Blue Stay Puff Marshmallow Man. I wish I only had a picture for you... Well this is just as good!

Rumors floating around the league...
Rumors have Anquan Boldin, unhappy with the Arizona Cardinals because they didn't upgrade his contract before this season and could be even unhappier if they turn their back on him again, according to the New York Daily News.
Boldin is 28 years old, 6-1, 217 and a physical receiver who never drops a pass.
My first question : Do you trade a first round pick for Boldin or do you find another receiver in the draft???
My stance is Toomer is't getting any younger, the Giants do draft serious talent, however, Plaxico may not be a Giant in 2009... I say go for the trade if the price is right.
My 2nd question: Is Plaxico Burress a Giant next year???
Its my time to time!

11-2 Division Winners...
Congratulations NY GIANTS- 2008 NFC East Division winners. Now that the Giants have that taken care of, now they need to regroup and focus on the next level. The next level-take care of business on Dec.14, 2008 against the Cowboys. Back to the basics - Blocking and Tackling. Two things the Giants forgot how to do yesterday.
Just like the Cleveland game, the Giants were beat last night. The Giants did not give up a win, they just did not execute plays. That is coachable and corrected this week.
This is just a bump in the road to success that only makes the Giants better. This is just another wake up call that teams are gunning for the Giants. It happens, however, it doesn't get easier the next few weeks, but the Giants have the talent and the character to WIN.
The Giants have not yet earned a first-round playoff bye, but they have ensured themselves of a first-round home playoff game.
Simple...Blocking and Tackling. Now get that first round bye in Dallas!
GO GIANTS!!!

Dunzo...
It's amazing how quickly things change. It wasn't long ago when I thought Plaxico Burress was a made man. After all - he caught the game winning touchdown to beat the previously unbeaten New England Patriots in Superbowl XLII...an upset for the ages. He could do no wrong.
The New York Giants and myself included, were willing to put up with missed meetings, skipped practices, and general insubordination. Even after giving him a 35 million dollar contract extension - he just couldn't keep his mouth shut and show up for work.
Now - just 10 months later - he finds himself on the outside looking in as the Giants have ended his season and most likely his New York Giant career.
Dunzo.

Breaking the Law...Breaking the Law
Not mentioning Antonio Pierce's dog issue, I was shocked to see the list of NY Giants with legal issues. They have been pretty busy these last 6 months.
As for Plaxico, he was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, which could result in a prison sentence of 3 1/2 years to 15 years if he is convicted. Burress posted $100,000 bail and was told by the judge that his next appearance won't be until March 31.
I hope all of this can blow over quickly and the Giants can move forward.
Big Blue... Big Blue...whatcha gonna do ...whatcha gonna do when they come for you.

Mi tiempo a tiempo!!!
Kudos to 3 players and an honorbale mention... These top three get Mac's "my Time to Time" award!
I think Eli had one heck of a game Sunday. No Plaxico...no Brandon. COME ON! It's ...
My Time to Time ! This guy picked apart the Cardinals like Giants fans a fried turkey on a tailgate. 26-33, 240, yds and 3 TD.
Don't hold your breathe, but someone is catching TDs this year and his name isn't Jeremy Shockey. I won't name names...I 'll just mention one stat...5 TDs for 2008...What was Shockey's top TD number for a season??? HMMM
Can someone say 7 tackles. Yes, Kenny Phillips had seven tackles and he was sick according to beat writer, Mike Garafalo...Not too shabby.
Honorbale mention..Mr. 3rd down Steve Smith. Does this guy come through for Eli or what?
Let's here your gamers...

My Random Thought of the Day...
What did Aaron Ross ever do to become ridiculed amongst our group?
Help win a Superbowl?
Win the Jets game last year with a pick 6?
Solidify the Baltimore game with two INTs and another pick 6?
Sure - I'm a biased University of Texas fan...but if you ask me...he's been nothing but great. I'm sure there are some Giants fans that would disagree but we've seen a first round draft pick out of Oklahoma fail miserably. (cough - cough - Cedric Jones - cough cough).
Can you really turn on a guy that had a bad game in Cleveland? Last I checked - the entire team lost that night.
