A Bye Week For The Giants...

And not much going on. However, the players love the time off. They can heal up, spend time with family or head back to the ole Alma Mater. How do I know... twitter.

For the fan... A Bye week spells for a crappy Sunday. Even the week leading up, the sporting press takes a breather to make it a slow news week overall. Yet leave it to the players and fans on twitter all week.... to liven it up.

So if you follow twitter... get on board with the fun. If you don't... then sign up. Either way kick it up this #weatherfordwednesday and get creative. Follow your favorite Giants players and Giants fans from all over. Cheer on Big Blue this week against the Miami Dolphins!

Super Sunday!

I must say that coming into yesterday game being under the weather then watched too quick strikes against our defense who were all asleep I may add, I thought to myself: Shit, I'm getting sicker by a minute and may crash soon! But then AB comes to the rescue: THANK YOU Bradshaw. I believe he was the one turned the game around with his relentless rushing. And yes, our defense woke up in 2H. Bravo to Websters for his two INTs. JPP was a beast. So was Osi - yes, the still pissed-off Osi and I hope he remains p.o. for the rest of the season. Then comes the victorious jeager shots and shots and shots... Finally, the victorious me being tossed up in the air. Loving it all!!!
This article is a great reading on how our G-Men is a MANLY-men football team:

As icing on the cake, the cowturds and homo lost (again).
Amazingly, I was not sick anymore by the time the super Sunday was wrapped up. What a super Sunday!
Who U with? Big Blue!!
Who U with? Big Blue!!
Who U with? Big Blue!!

surprisingly optimistic

Maybe its the fact that Sunday's date is optimal for the birth of any bad ass, or the fact that the G-MEN play to the competition. What ever it is, for some strange reason this guys' surprisingly optimistic about BIGBLUE's chances.... Oh, wait.... I know what it is....... its the fucking bills.... Are you kidding me with these guys, I realize that every buffalo has its day, but come on... the bills!?!... Those of you who have rolled with bigbluedfw for more than 6yrs do remember that we shared a bar with these guys..... First of all, let me be clear... I fully respect the loyalty of the Billsfan... These chooches have had their hearts played with by their team more than Screech has gotten the shaft from Lisa... (yes its a saved by the bell reference).... We all remember every fresh season of Bills football, these guys would walk in clearheaded and full of promise... And, at that moment for the money shot..... there's a dribble... I'm sure the old school crew remembers using the word Buffalo as a verb.. exp... "don't worry they'll buffalo it."... And sure enough buffalo it they do... Now while I have no preconceptions of have terrible my beloved GIANTS performing... One thing that gives me hope is that we're not buffalo..... And mark my words... Buffalo will find a way to buffalo... I just hoping that it starts this Sunday....Oct.16... birthday of the handsome and super cool soul brothas of no equal....

That being said... GO GIANTS... see all you humps on Sunday for some Bison meat!!!!

Giants Injury Bug Keeps Running Rampant and So Does Antonio Pierce's Mouth

The snowball of injuries continue...

We all know about:
Clint Sintim
Prince Amukamara
Terrell Thomas
Marvin Austin
Domenik Hixon
Jonathan Goff
That long list of Prime Giant players was so surreal, that I thought I jinxed them. I followed each of them on twitter. Eesh!

Then Baas, Tuck, Jacobs sat out this week. Snee has a concussion and may be out next game...

Ok...tough sport and injuries happen. But why does Antonio Pierce have to give Justin Tuck and Brandon Jacobs crap about not playing. Did he not learn from Tiki calling out former players in public?

They have to be two of the toughest players on the Giants. Great leaders and I believe they would have played if they could. But you had to find a story and you had to take the short cut...

Antonio Pierce said,“To me if you don’t have an injury that needs surgery, or that’s severe, you need to be out there,”

Just like you were with your neck injury, Antonio. If Pierce played with a broken ankle or was known as an iron man player, I'd back off. Keep the billy bad ass talk for your golf buddies when bragging about the NFL days. These are fellow teammates that battled next to you. Not to mention kept publicly quiet and supported you and Plaxico that fateful night in the Latin Quarter.

Antonio...Are you a Giants beat reporter because I didn't think you were. Go report about Peyton Hillis and his lame ass excuse that his agent advised him not to play because of a sore throat... BE-Cause that is weak!

AIR HORN to you Mr. Pierce!

G-Men

I tried to resist reading anything about G-Men this morning since I had seen a horrified game yesterday with own eyes. But, I just like to see what TC has to say and no surprise same old speech:
"“We played poorly,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “When you don’t deserve to win you don’t win…the sloppiness of the game, the turnovers. You’re not going to win football games when you’re handing people the ball, point blank range or whatever…our woes continue with the rushing game, we didn’t stop the run…Poor performance, that’s my fault, we didn’t play well…"
Blah blah blah...
Here are few facts that I think we need to accept and save our energy (or try to) to somehow enjoy the remaining games:
1) Killdrive will continue to kill drives with his inept ability to be aggressive or creative in play calling for the entire 60 minutes. We'll be lucky if we get more than two drives with aggressive plays. Otherwise, lets hope and pray for big plays.
2) Killdrive will stay as long as TC is around and/or Giants are hovering over 0.500 record.
3) Cruz is green and needs time to develop into a legitimate WR. He was undrafted after all. If it took Toomer couple of seasons to be THE Toomer that we all know then it will take Cruz at least that long. BTW, it took that douche bag Smith couple of seasons too. So, Cruz is way ahead of him.
4) Speaking of WR, Manningham needs to step up NOW bcuz he sucks as #2/3 on the depth chart. #2 receiver is supposed to draw attention off #1 but I don't quite see that. Speaking of #1, Nicks has been a disappoinment this season so far as #1: too inconsistent from game to game!
5) JR needs to scout better on OL and LBs. Our current OL sucks! Can't open holes and can't block. There are too many "projects" that I'm tired of hearing "we're getting better". Nugh said.
6) Our offense doesn't scare anyone and our defense is not strong enough to hold down the fort for 45 minutes plus => 0.500 record => Go back to item #1
So, hang on to our seats. It's going to be long roller coaster ride for the rest of the season. It just like yesterday game: only Giants can make you laugh then cry then laugh then cry in a span of 10 minutes!!!
But hey, my blood will always be BLUE till death.

Crediblility Lost...

You know what? I usually abide by the 24 hour rule in place before I post anything but I just can't let this go. Sure - it doesn't help that I've now seen Eli's pick six about 43 times on game breaks and highlights but it just tells me one thing. This team sucks.

Let's see who have the Giants have played:

Washington (3-1) - They might have the argument of being 4-0.
St. Louis (0-4) - We even struggled against them.
Philadelphia (1-4) They're like a Kardashian - everyone scores on them.
Arizona (1-4) - The Giants had to score 2 TDs in the final 3 minutes to win.
Seattle (2-3) - This one just baffles me...a loss at home to a 1 win team. I hate Pete Carroll.

Total (7-16) Results - they really haven't played anyone.

Seriously...you're going to roll over to a 1 win team at home today? Favored by 10 points and playing against their 2nd string quarterback. It just seems like every week the Giants find a way to make the opponent's quarterback look like he belongs in the Pro Bowl.

I know - I know - an overreaction to a loss...the Giants are still 3-2...blah blah blah. But as long as this team continues to play down to it's level of competition - it's going to be a long season.

This team sucks.

Giants vs Seahawks - The Bird Team Schedule Continues

Week five and staying alive. Giants take on the Seahawks this Sunday, October 9th.

It was a little ugly last week but a "W" is still a "W" and they don't have to look pretty to count. Unbelievable turnout last week. Thanks to all that came out.
