New Coaching Calling!!!

First off: F$%& the Sheagirls and their fans!!! If you are not aware, Nicks is out this Sunday with broken toe so our G-Men playoffs hope grew much dimmer with the damn Sheagilrs started choking already. The Bears may not have enough motivation to play their starters to beat the Packers this Sunday. So, the Giants just need to win for self respect.

Second and more importantly, you may think differently but I want TC and his staff gone regardless of Sunday outcome - his time ran out. Sewage (DE) needs to go too. His defensive schemes suck. How do you explain rushing 4 with 7 in coverage and still leaving opponent receivers wide opened? And this is after we spent big money to buy a big time FA safety AND getting KP back?!? Last, f&#% Killdrive for making some dumbass calls at the wrong times. F$%all of them for ruining our playoffs chances two weeks in the row and ruining our Christmas and New Year holidays!!!
Out.

As always and forever, go BIG BLUE.

Giants Playoff Hopes

Are fading. But Stop! Hold on...Stay in control.

Now trailing the Packers for the NFC's sixth and final spot, the Giants will only be playing in the playoffs if they beat the Redskins and IF Chicago wins at Green Bay or IF they win at Washington, Green Bay wins and current fifth-place team New Orleans loses Monday night at Atlanta and next Sunday at home to Tampa Bay.

Got it...Phew. The Giants again, simply need to win, but have zero control of their own destiny.

Do they deserve to go to the playoffs? They actually were holding the control of a playoff spot in the their hands. To then let is slip away like our last two game... Just Win Giants!

Just win and let fate...fatum...theosphaton play its part.

Peter, enter your sanctum (sounds nasty) and pray to your four gods of football... The Crunch Bunch.

Thank You and Happy Holidays

On behalf of the group of us that help to coordinate BigBlueDFW, I want to send out a special thank you to all of you that have spent some time with us this year. I hope you've had a chance to introduce yourself and enjoy spending some time with us. Whether at the watch party, reading the website postings, the draft day party, the Giants/Cowboys game tailgate or some other time, I hope you've had as much fun as I've had this year. Another football season is almost over and we've watched the NY Giants fan base continue to grow stronger in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area to its largest numbers.
I hope you and your family enjoy a safe and wonderful holiday season and hope you find peace and prosperity in the new year. Thanks for spending some time with us this year and we look forward to seeing all of you in 2011. We hope to have some new events in the upcoming year including a once a month BigBlueDFW happy hour during the off-season and our typical draft day party where fans of all teams are welcome. Maybe not Eagles fans this year, I think you all can understand why.
Once again, thanks for all the laughing and cheering.
As always....WHO YOU WIT? BIG BLUE!!!
Regards,
Drew

True Blue Blood Big Blue Calling!

As bad, disgusted, disappointed, upset, pissed off, angry, hollow, etc... as it should feel until this Sunday from last Sunday debacle, TRUE BLUE BLOOD BIG BLUE fans won't give up on our G-Men - not now and not ever, especially when we still have a chance to make playoff and go some where. As a reminder, many of us felt like craps after starting 0-2 and fell behind 0-17 vs. Foreskins in 2007, everyone including me calling for TC's head. What happened is history...
Go Big Blue.
PS:
Eagirls fans: You got your win (for now), now go fuck yourselves!
Cowshits fans: Up yours and why are you still chirping this season?!
Foreskins fans: Nothing needed to be said here!!!

Get the poison out Raven... I mean G-Men!

"Go ahead and do what you got to do to get the poison out today, whatever it is!" "If you got to drink, fight, sleep, whatever you got to do, when the sun comes up tomorrow, go to work and get ready to win a game."

A few words spoken from a man of a few words. According, to Giants Center Shaun O'Hara, that was the battle cry from Eli Manning's locker room speech. Did Eli sound his barbaric yawp over the roofs of New York of "Get the Poison Out!"

Nice use of the quote made famous on Howard Stern. Did Eli consciously say it or did O'Hara take artistic license for a sound byte on Howard?

Something From Tony D'Amato...But A Little Different:

I don't know what to say - really. The biggest battle of our 2010 season was lost in seven minutes. It all comes down to next Sunday - and either - we heal as a group today or we crumble. See – we’re in hell right now. Believe me - we can stay here and sulk - get the shit kicked out of us next week - or we can fight our way back into the playoffs. We can climb out of hell – one game at a time – and hope we get a shot at redemption.

Now I can't do it alone. I look around - I see the new faces from BigBlueDFW and I think – wow 100 people showed up. Think about that – one hundred people were willing to share in our misery. That’s truly amazing and a little overwhelming too. I mean – sure – the group made some mistakes. We’ve made just about every bad choice a fan group can make. The wait staff was very undermanned. The room we watch the game in isn’t comfortably suited for that kind of crowd. And we allow the main room to broadcast a game that only 4 people are watching. But these are just the growing pains of a group that bonds together win or lose.

You see – in this group - we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces. We attach ourselves to this team – to this group – to Sundays in the fall. Because we know there’s a sizable lull between the Pro Bowl and the draft that just can’t fill our Giants void.

I'll tell you this - in a time of confusion - in a time of “WTF just happened” – games like yesterday that make you stand tall against the killjoys of the world. Now you can deal with this game many ways. You can tackle it head on - wait for the next game – avoid sports shows on television and radio – or just avoid football all together. Just remember this – there is another week.

It's Not Really The End of the World.

Okay, I've had almost 24 hours to digest what happened. (I just got done watching the DeSean Jackson play for the first time since last night and I was sick to my stomach.) Look, I've read all kinds of comments and posts from people all over the Internet. While this is probably the greatest loss in Giants regular season history, it's still not the worst loss in the entire Giants history. Let's save that for the 2002 Wild Card playoff game against the 49'ers and the 2000 SuperBowl against the Ravens since those were both one and done games. But let's take a step back for just a moment. I'm frustrated and upset like all of you. But don't ask me to be embarrassed. I'll never be embarrassed or ashamed to be a Giants fan. I'll save that for the Eagles fans and their trophy case that looks something like this.

There are still a couple of possible scenarios that put the Giants in the playoffs. Let me begin by saying that I'm not one of those guys who's going to cheer for other teams to lose, except the team that the Giants are playing. I'll hold nothing against anyone who does that because I can appreciate your passion for the team. I think if you can't make the playoffs by winning your own games then you're probably not going to go to far in the playoffs to begin with. That said, lets look at two possible scenarios.

1. Giants beat Green Bay - That's it. Win and you're in.
2. Vikings beat Bears and the Giants win either of their next two games and they're in.

That's all it takes. Just win out. Does anybody other than Cowboys fans remember how great they were during the 2007 regular season after sweeping the Giants in the regular season and losing to the eventual SuperBowl Champions in the playoffs? No...cause nobody gives a shit. Let's just make the playoffs and TCB. I want every single player and team contributor from the Giants organization good and fired up. Get mad. Be angry. Stay pissed off. Whatever you do, just play like a NY Giant should and be proud to wear that NY on your sleeve. I know I am.

Let This Be A Lesson...

To all of those people who were cheering when a member of the Eagles got hurt or was limping off the field.

It's bad luck and they shoved it right back up our ass.

So from now on - when a member of the opposing team gets hurt or limps off the field - say nothing. Make no fist pump. Make no comment to your friend standing next to you.

It's karma.

I Don't Know What to Feel......

- Fuck the Eagles.
- Fuck the Giants Punter.
- Fuck the Giants Defense.
- Fuck Eagle Fans who come out only when they win.
- Suck It Philly
- Merry Christmas and Thank You to all the Giants fans who came out for this game. I love all my Giants family.

nothing to report

In the words of Tony Saprano, " what the fuck?... things are good." Well I dont have anything to bitch about.... nothing to unleash my wrath on, nothing to make fun of... well except for the diarrhea walk that Jackson was doing on Monday night... that was pretty funny... I am going to go ahead and drink me some grape kool aid... I'm very confident that on Sunday, BIG BLUE will T.C.B. it.... for all you homos out there that means take care of business... if these cow slags can represent against... then why not BIG BLUE!!! I really got nothing here so I'll end this with.... ALL EAGLE FANS CAN TAKE A NICE NUTSAC LUNCH TO WORK WITH THEM ALL WEEK!!!

GO GIANTS!!!!!!

NFL is to blame for this game change!!!

Yeah, Mr. NFL, don't go hiding because you're the one to blame for this move. Stop pointing at the Mother nature. You want to know why? Well, let's see: 7 of the last 8 Giants-Viqueers games including the last 3 consecutive times were scheduled in MN in Nov-Dec. Were you just born yesterday not to realize that there is a good chance of snow blizzards in MN around Christmas? I know, you need to rub Brettie Fart's and those Viqueers' p&@%*#% that badly right? Well, the roof collapsed yesterday. Who knows, with some luck, the whole dang stadium could come down too. As for those purple arses queers fans, duck tape d@$%#& in your holes and suck it up.

Ok, I now desperately need Brett Fart's to be the 6th QB TKO while retiring his ars for good. It would be the only Christmas gift that I want this year, Santa Big Blue!!!

Go G-Men!!!

Giants at Vikings (Detroit Ford Field) - Monday - 6:20pm

So...the NFL has decided the game will be played in Detroit (another domed stadium). I can already hear the Viking fans complaining. "How come they didn't move the game to the University of Minnesota Stadium?" Going to Detroit doesn't make sense - how are we going to move our gay Viking ship?"

I can see it now. Some douche bag probably has a t-shirt that says "WWJVD?" (as in What Would Jesse Ventura Do?)

Suck it up buttercup. It's not like you had some kind of home field advantage in the cold weather of Minnesota. You're stadium is also a dome jackass. (Maybe not now since there's no roof on your stadium).

BTW - Does anyone actually believe Ed Werder's report that Bret Favre wasn't going to start today had the game actually been played.

Really? I don't bye it. Fuc&ing retire already.

Metrodome Roof Collapses

Well "F" me. The NFL is now reporting the Metrodome roof has collapsed due to snow (or deflated) - depending on how you want to look at it.

It seems the NFL might need to have a Plan C. So who knows what happens now.

UPDATE (9:16am): According to Rich Eisen of the NFL Network - the game between the Giants and Vikings will not be played at the Mall of America Stadium on Monday or Tuesday.
More details to come.

UPDATE: (10:55am): According to Adam Shefter of ESPN - the Giants/Vikings game will be tomorrow night at Ford Stadium in Detroit. Game time is 8:20 EST.

GIANTS GAME MOVED TO MONDAY NIGHT

Well - it looks like we'll have to hear about Brett Favre for another day. The Giants are stuck in Kansas City due to a blizzard in Minnesota.

Therefore the game is postponed for Monday. The post below says the game is scheduled for 8pm (I'm guessing east coast time). There are conflicting reports...so we'll see.

Here's Mike Garafolo's take:

Stay tuned more more details.

Giants at Vikings - Sunday - 12:00pm

Ugggh....Brett Fu&ing Favre. Like the most of you - I'm on record wishing he would just go away. To make it worse - he plays for the Vikings (one of my 5 most hated teams in the NFL). Add them together and you get 53 purple wearing queers in a boat.

Needless to say - I can't wait for Tuck and Company to have a field day making the NFL's little darling a limping grass stain. Actually a purple paint stain since there's artificial turf in Minnesota.

If anyone remembers the game from last year - you understand my tone.

So come out and join us at Cape Buffalo Grille for fun and a bunch of high fives. Besides - it might just be Brett Favre taking a knee on the first play. (Wouldn't want to ruin that consecutive start record "Mr. I Practice But Don't Throw")

Giants 31 - Redskins 7 - I Think That:

- It's about time the Giants scored a touchdown on an opening drive. (1st one this year)

- Finally - Eli didn't have to carry this team on Sunday. (although trying to force that ball in the end zone was a bad decision)

- For a game that was originally not supposed to be televised...I think we had a great crowd at Cape Buffalo.

- Even though our normal waitresses quit - I'm thankful we won...on account of our superstitious ways.

- Donovan McNabb is still Osi's bitch.

- One of the contributors to this blog (The Irish Highball) needs to attend games more often. He's now 2-0 and the Giants have recorded 14 sacks in those 2 games.

- Things are always better when the big man (Jacobs) is rumbling and looking for contact.

- Our punter finally had a game where no one in our group wanted to cut him immediately.

- Devin Thomas has found a home on special teams.

- JPP is starting to look good (4 sacks in the last 2 games).

-The Giants should have had more than 6 turnovers.

- Even though I'm disappointed that Kate Mara wore Pittsburgh garb during the Giants game...I'm somehow willing to forgive her.

- It's difficult to judge how bad Washington is - considering they're giving up on Shanahan - but I'll take it.

- The Giants needed a sound victory - but let's not forget what happened last year against the Viqueens.

Giants vs. Redskins - Sunday - 12:00pm

Ahh - our old pals - the Washington Redskins. I still can't picture playing them without seeing this YouTube clip in my head:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJXGHJn7CI8

Thank you Brandon Jacobs.

With that being said - we're back at it Sunday for another game at Cape Buffalo. It looks like we should have a big crowd considering the game is not locally televised.

So come out early and let's take care of business against the Washington Redskins...because it really doesn't matter who plays quarterback for them.
